Our movement work shares artistic creation through live performance, film, and ensemble-based collaborative practice. Whether through performances, screenings, or residency-style experiences, this work reflects how our artists create, grow, and engage with audiences and communities.
The ensemble
Melanin Mosaic is an open collective ensemble that serves as the engine for all of our work, bringing together artists, collaborators, and community initiatives with a focus on the African diaspora while remaining open to broader participation. Through this ensemble, creative development, performance, storytelling, and community-centered work take shape across live presentation, film, education, and shared practice, supporting artists while extending the work beyond the stage and into the spaces where connection and impact matter most.
