our culture is guided by the Mosaic Method — a shared approach to care, sustainability, and collective responsibility that shows up in how we train, create, and collaborate over time.

Mental Health & Wellness

Mental health is essential to overall well-being, and Melanin Mosaic Performance Ensemble recognizes the challenges faced by all, especially within the African diaspora and BIPOC communities. We share resources that support care, awareness, and connection, reinforcing that seeking help is a strength and that no one has to navigate this work alone.

Marching Arts Access, Safety, and Inclusion Network

Mental health is treated as a core part of creative practice, not an add-on. Our culture supports reflection, conversation, and access to resources that help artists navigate the emotional demands of performance environments.

This work is supported in partnership with MAASIN, whose work centers culturally responsive mental health education, dialogue, and community care. Through this partnership, we help create space for conversations around identity, well-being, and emotional sustainability within creative and ensemble-based settings.

Melanin Mosaic x Sol Health

Therapist-in-Training Internship Opportunity for Marching-Arts Professionals.

Melanin Mosaic Performance Ensemble is partnering with Sol Health to help connect marching-arts professionals and creatives with therapist-in-training internship opportunities. Through this collaboration, we aim to support emerging mental health practitioners who understand the physical, emotional, and cultural demands of performance-based environments. Together, we’re working to identify individuals interested in completing their clinical training while engaging with communities rooted in movement, creativity, and care.
